What’s Your Story?  Authentic Personal Branding for Career Development Success

Are you crystal clear on your unique value—and how to convey that to others?  Do you know who you are at your very best—and how to translate your core strengths and values into a personal narrative that can shape your professional success and fulfillment?  In this highly interactive and engaging session, you’ll find out which one of 12 key story-based motivational drivers (or “story types”) is most like you.  You’ll learn how to energize your job search and career development arc with messages that align specifically with the opportunities that are most right for you.  You’ll also use find out how your story can shape a career-oriented purpose that’s most inspiring to you and a compelling promise that sparks interest in what you have to offer among others.

 All participants are invited to take the Professional Strengths, Values & Story Survey, a free online story typing tool, before the session.

Cindy Atlee is a coach, consultant and conscious creator who believes every individual and organization has a powerful story to tell.  She is currently principal of The Storybranding Group, where she helps clients define and give passionate, authentic voice to what’s best and most distinctive about them.  Previously, she was Senior Vice President, Branding & Organizational Culture at the global public relations firm Porter Novelli.

Cindy is co-author of the Professional Strengths, Values & Story Survey (SVSS), a tool that’s been used by thousands of professionals, teams and organizations to get clear on who they really are and the unique value they have to offer.  Her innovative story typing process has won multiple awards and been used by such organizational clients as Kashi, Procter & Gamble and Meals on Wheels America—and by leaders and professionals in a wide variety of fields and walks of life.
